If you have NZ $3 million or NZ $10 million to invest in New Zealand, you can apply for New Zealand residence. 


Summary:

1.If you have NZ $3 million or NZ $10 million to invest in New Zealand, you can apply for New Zealand residence.

2.Government bonds, bonds issued by New Zealand companies and traded in the New Zealand bond market, corporate bonds of grade BBB enterprises in New Zealand, equity (equity / stock) of a New Zealand company (listed or privately owned company), including management fund.

3.New Zealand Investor Resident Visa is divided into two categories: Investor 1 Category (investment with NZ $10 million), and Investor 2 Category (investment with NZ $3 million)

At   least IELTS 3.0

English   ability of dependent family

No   requirement

Same   as the PA or pay for having no functional English

Residence   requirements in New Zealand

You   must spend 44 days per year in New Zealand last two years over the three year   investment period

You   must spend 146 days per year in New Zealand last three years over the four   year investment period

Health   and characters

Applicants   will have medical exam and police clearance.


Process for Investor 1 Category

1) Appoint an interview and evaluate application qualifications 

2) Sign an agreement, make application scheme & prepare document checklist

3) Submit application documents

4) Grant approval in principle

5) Invest your nominated funds in an acceptable investment in New Zealand within 12 months

6) Grant NZ resident visa 

7) Grant PR visa after three year investment

Note: Period for Investor 1 Category: Grant resident visa after 8-16 months and PR visa after 4-5 years.


Process for Investor 2 Category

1) Appoint an interview and evaluate application qualifications 

2) Sign an agreement, make application scheme & prepare document checklist

3) Submit EOI 

4) Submit application documents

5) Grant approval in principle

6) Invest your nominated funds in an acceptable investment in New Zealand within 12 months

7) Grant NZ resident visa 

8) Grant PR visa after four year investment

Note: Period for Investor 2 Category: Grant resident visa after 10-18 months and PR visa after 5-6 years.
